Suspect Succumbs to Injuries

Officers of the Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force are currently on the scene at Miracle  Close, Blue Hills, following a shooting incident.

Preliminary reports indicate that shortly after 1pm, officers responded to information regarding  three males.

During the encounter, the males opened fire at the officers, who returned fire.  One suspect succumbed to injuries at the scene while being attended to by medical personnel.  The other two suspects fled the scene.

A manhunt is currently underway for the other suspects. This is an active and ongoing investigation. Further details will be provided as they become available.
