Discharge of firearm
The Criminal Investigations Department of the Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force has detained two male suspects following a report of a shooting today (June 29th).
Shortly after 3 AM, the Police Contol Room received reports of gunshots being heard outside a business establishment located along Breezy Brae, Grand Turk.
Officers responded, and based on the information received, two suspects were arrested. The RT&CIPF can confirm that no injuries were reported.
This remains an active investigation.
The public is advised to notify the closest police station, contact 911, the Serious Crime Unit at 231-1842, Crime Stoppers at 1-800-8477, and anonymously give any information.
